We are told to love one another by serving with our gifts and being hospitable (1 Peter 4:8-10) and we are also encouraged to contribute to the needs of the saints as we show hospitality (Romans 12:13). Having friends over for dinner is one of the great joys of fellowship but it can cause enough anxiety to convince you that hospitality is a bad idea. However, entertaining at home is really a piece of cake if you know the fundamentals of hosting a dinner party. If you are ambitious, cautious, or even reluctant, this event is for you.
Our very own Chef Rod will guide you in living out biblical hospitality as you learn to create a masterful meal that is sure to satisfy and impress your friends. Please come and watch Chef prepare a complete menu from salad to dessert. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and enjoy the full meal as well. We’ll discuss aspects of the evening to give you confidence in planning and preparing an event that will bring great joy to you and your guests.
