Fundamentals of the Faith
How do we know the Bible is God's Word? What is sin and where did it come from? How is Jesus fully God and fully man? What are spiritual gifts? When and how will Christ return? Why should I pray? If you've asked questions like these, then "systematic theology" is no abstract term. It's an approach to finding answers every Christian needs to know in order to live a life that glorifies God. Men’s Ministry is offering two levels of Fundamentals of the Faith.
Level 1, Christian Beliefs, takes an introductory look at 20 basics that every Christian should know. | |
Level 2, Bible Doctrine, takes a deeper dive into the doctrines that define the Christian faith and is recommended for those that have completed Level 1 or those who are very familiar with the Bible. |
Men’s Fraternity 1: The Quest for Authentic Manhood
Are you a REAL man? What does that even mean today? With all the pressures and messages coming at us from society, the media, culture, our friends and associations, even our own heads… how can we really know what it means to be an “authentic” man? What does God tell us He wants us to be? And how do we deal with the things that have hurt us or held us back in the past? Is this just the way it’s going to be, so deal with it? These are some of the things that Men’s Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood seeks to address. This exciting and intensive study for men will identify what it means to be a real man, the things that try to hold us back and offer a godly model for moving forward. Take hold of the knowledge and the tools you need to become the authentic man that your family needs and that God desires you to be. For more information, visit the men's fraternity website.

Men of 7:24
The admonition to “build your house upon the rock” is the basis for all we do in this class. We study the Bible to build our spiritual "house" upon Jesus. He is central to all we study. Whether it be prophecy of His coming kingdom, historical sections showing His working in men's lives or letters of instruction in His ways, all our studies in the Word equip us to know Jesus better and become more like Him as we follow and serve. We have indeed tasted and seen that the Lord is Good! We invite all men to come and feast on the richness of His Word. Jesus is returning soon. When He comes, will you recognize Him?
►Begins Saturday, September 18,
7:24-8:45am in Room 207.
