Central to being Christ’s church in this place is our identity as a gathered assembly on Sunday mornings.  In the midst of this assembly, Christ is uniquely at work doing the following: revealing His presence, displaying His invisible person, bringing heaven’s power and authority in opposition to the forces of evil, uniting believers in koinonia and making the assembled believers more like Christ.

As a result of Christ’s work in this gathered assembly, the physical manifestations of the Spirit overflow into the practices of maturing, serving, caring and witnessing.  We assemble as a church from diverse backgrounds and cultures to confess Jesus as Lord in worship, to hear God speak from His Word and to identify with Christ in communion and baptism.  Our gathering together on the Lord’s Day as a large body is central to everything we are and do as a church.
